In vacation, I go to the korea and my costen(7 people) come to Russia.
I think many people(it's mean grade 3) go to a trip.

Genki, your heart longs to see, hear, and feel beautiful things around us! Simple green leaves are emerald treasures to you! I loved when you stayed inside for recess with me; you wanted to listen to the beautiful music. Oh, those violins… Thank you, Genki!

Elle, you have been such a caring, charming friend to all of us! We loved your warm, fuzzy hugs. I enjoyed reading funny slogans on your T-shirts…and remember, “I will never trade YOU for a sprinkle!” and “Let’s vote for Pedro”. Thank you for your hard work, determination, and sparkling, sunny smiles! Keep on reading, sunshine! Thank you, Elle!

Sophie, you remind me of Matilda from Roald Dahl! Keep on reading, smarty! Thank you for your kind heart, hard work, and for the most delectable Swiss chocolates! I am so proud of you! (Ms Honey)  

Do Hyo, you have a warm heart and… warm hands! How do you keep your hands so warm even on cold, rainy days here in St.Petersburg? 

Thank you for being a warm sunshine for us! I am so proud of you! Thank you for working so hard in Grade 3 and I loved listening to your stories, you always have an interesting story to share!

Selin! I am so proud of you! You have become a very good reader in Grade 3. Keep on reading, starry girl! You have become a careful reader, now you remember little details and can quote exact lines from the book. Well done, Selin!I really enjoyed your Marvelous Medicine candies- divine treats! You have a beautiful heart and you have many talents to share with the world! Keep on shining! Thank you!

Su Min, I really liked working with you! On days when I felt steeply and tired, you somehow gave me that magical “poof” and I felt relieved and sparkling happy! I loved your cute piggy tails and I loved you coming to my room so early in the morning before school stars. Thank you!

Se Rim, my magician girl! How do you learn English so fast? It is truly magical! 

Thank you for trying your best. I liked watching you working silently and diligently at your desk, you always looked so peaceful, beautiful, and calm. Se Rim, I like your little shiny glasses and your colorful hair bands! I like your smile, and when you smile, your face shines beautifully with happiness and  true joy! Se Rim, I am so proud of you! Thank you.   

Chea Ryung, our hard working, clever, charming Chea Ryung! 

You are as sweet as your moms’ crunchy chocolaty cookies. Thank you for being a Role Model for many of us in Grade 3. You are amazing! You are “The salt of Earth” and you definitely put your”elbow grease” into your work, and you always “mind your Ps and Qs”, whatever you do! (I loved your idioms!) Thank you, Chea Ryung!

Yeon Woo, I love your charming smile and your cute little giggles! You make me laugh and you make me to forget about my little troubles. Yeon Woo, you have so many talents and gifts, and I am so grateful you have shared them with us!

Matthew, thank you for greeting me cheerfully every morning (on good mornings and on not so good-very sleepy mornings, always…) Thank you, Matthew! I really liked talking to you! Thank you for your hard work and for being such a kind, helpful, and sunny friend to all of us!

I will miss your little freckles!

Oran! It is impressive how much in depth you have learned about the history of St.Petersburg and the history of Russia. I am so proud of you. I have to confess, I need to catch up with you and to learn more about the history of Holland. I will work on that this summer! Thank you for the most wonderful Nicholas II birthday party. The cake was amazing, as always! Keep on reading, and thank you for making our Grade 3 classroom a better place to learn and to play!

Ruben (Alexander I-the victorious hero!). Thank you for all your hard work! I am so proud of you! (I really liked your “no home work T-shirt”, thank you for not giving up-you kept on learning, even on those gloomy, sleepy, dark mornings in St.Petersburg. Great job! I really liked having you in my after school history club and in the science club. Jogging with you along Neva and watching the ice over the bridge was something I will never forget. You know how to make people laugh, and we enjoyed laughing with you! Thank you!

Katya! You are a little dancer! You need to move to think, and I find it just extraordinarily amazing! I like your little springy leaps in the middle of our Math class…I did! Oh, and that exclusive opera performance, it was a sensation! “Please bring back my diamonds to me!” Katenka! Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication!  I really enjoyed talking to you, thank you for making me happy…I like yours “Ms Marina, you will be happy about it, listen..”. Thank you, Katya.

Joseph! I am so happy you have joined us in Grade 3. Your “Eco-Solutions “ club idea is absolutely fantastic. Let’s do it together next year for afterschool!. Joseph, you were a fantastic stage director in the Twits- skillful, fair, kind, and creative. Your talents are shining so bright! I liked talking to you; you are an amazing reader and a talented writer! I am so proud of you!

05:56 pm - Internaional day! By Chea Ryung

Today was internaional day. An Internaional day is when we have House rotaions of different continents and have a big feast of different country foods, but this year, we had a very special internaional day. We also had a parade of different groups. I was in the biggest South Korean  group. It was interesting to see so many South Korean people. But it was also great to see so many other country flags in our parade because our school is an internaional school!
  In the house ativites we started with the continent North America. We played many games but the game I enjoyed the most was the Taxi game. It was funny to see people repeat after another. My favorite continent was Africa because the whispering game called telephone really showed how stories chaged when African people kept on telling stories but always they would tell it a little different and at the very end, it ends being a much different story! That is why I liked the african continent the best, but most of all , I liked the big feast! Yummy!!! Those delicious, delectable, and facinatig food were amazing! I was so full after tasting all of  that  food !
  Oh! and before I leave I would like to say thank you to the High Schoolers because  they spent all day long doing the house activites for us!
So once again, thank you!!!

Today we had another Roald Dahl party but with some 2nd graders and 4th graders.
It was a fabulous show even though we did some mistakes. Plus we got some candies!!! And ofcourse we did the Roald Dahl Quiz but even though nobody even got  candies including our actors, we got them at the end. Do you know any Roald Dahl facts? If you do, please leave it as a comment!

Have you ever met Matilda!   I love this book by Roald Dahl, and Ms Marina thinks that Matilda is a little bit like ME. Matilda is genius!Unfortunely her family treated her like a 
sily thing.Her repulsive car-seller father and her bingo-obsessed mother think Matilda's only talent is being helpful for NOTHING. But it isn't long before before clever Matilda decides to fight back.  Matilda is amazing!
